Sweet Potato Pie

Baked in the oven, this sweet potato dessert is sweet and creamy and makes a wonderful autumn dessert or snack.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Boil the sweet potato and mash it until smooth.
Add in the butter to the potatoes until melted.
Add in sugar and milk.
Mix until all is well combined.
Let the mixture cool in fridge for about 30 minutes.
When cooled, shape the mixture into a circle using your hands.
Place the dessert into a foil sheet and put egg wash on the top and sides.
Pop them into the oven for about 35 minutes or until the dessert is golden brown.

1 Japanese sweet potato
1 egg (for egg wash)
1tbsp butter
2tbsp sugar
1/4 cup milk
Cooking Tips
-make sure to put the egg wash so that the outside will have a golden brown color
-you can also add black sesame seeds on top for garnish
