This is our first event, the Yamagata Fair! Japan’s Yamagata Prefecture is famous for its agriculture, especially its fruit, and for a variety of gourmet products.
Yamagata-based companies at our Torrance store will offer unique dorayaki called “Makidora”, which special exhibitor Anchindo from Japan will demonstrate; popular Japanese rice “Tsuyahime”; delicious fruit jelly; rich, tasty gelato; dadachamame (edamame) and more.
In addition to these gourmet products, you will find special food items such as Yamagata’s wagyu beef bento, bangiku inari sushi (mixed inari sushi rice and Japanese pickles), gassan soba, and mugi kiri udon.
